• E-mail: Write to NSEsala@LBT.org (Feel free to send e-mails to the address. However, due to the cost of dial-up and slow connection speeds, please keep e-mail under 150kb. To write that much text is nearly impossible, so don't worry about the length of the message.  This limit is mainly for sending photos. Please shrink photos to a manageable size or print them and send them snail mail. We love to receive personal messages from you, but please avoid impersonal forwards.  Also realize that many times, the phone system that we use does not cooperate, and we are unable to send and receive messages.)

  Because of our remote location, snail mail may be as fast as e-mail and more reliable so we would love to hear from you. Mail tends take 2-3 weeks to reach our post office. Just send it to our Ghana address. Actually letters sent to LBT's office in Aurora would still reach us too. It will just take a little longer.  When addressing the envelope it is best to use CAPITAL LETTERS.
  
  Please only send packages to the Ghana address. Most likely it will take 4-12 weeks. Items sent in padded envelopes have made it to us in two weeks without any hassle or custom fees to pay. We like that if you have a box you would like to send, it would be help to know in advance in case we have a special need you can fill. You will have to fill out a short customs form at the post office. You'll be asked about the general contents and the estimated value. We're finding that many things are becoming available in Ghana, but we can't always find some of the simple things that we'd like to have.
  
  
• Phone: We have a satellite phone, but it is very costly to use. We will use it for emergencies and special situations. There is a radiophone that we can use that is only twenty minutes away. It's less expensive to use, but may have more static on the line, especially for you in the USA. If there is a special need to arrange a call with us, please send us a message through e-mail or snail mail.
  
  
• Special Note: With all of these communication options, our access is limited by our location. It's a 60 minute drive to reach our post office and e-mail set-up. With the road conditions, it's a long two hour round trip, even in our awesome vehicle. We place to check e-mail messages every two weeks when we get our snail mail, but that does not guarantee that we will be successful. This means that even though you send a letter or e-mail, we may not receive it for weeks after it arrives. Then it most likely will be a couple more weeks until we can send our response. It's the feast and famine of our communications. We hope you will be a part of our feast.
  
  
• Regarding Money: Please send financial support for our ministry or personal gifts to the LBT address in Aurora. If you are contributing to our ministry please, print "ESALA MINISTRY" on the memo line. For personal gifts, print "ESALA PERSONAL" on the memo line. You can also contribute online at LBT's secure site. LBT informs us of all gifts that we receive.
