Esalas in Mission with Lutheran Bible Translators

Nathan, Sarah, Karissa, and Annaka are Lutheran Bible Translator missionaries working with the Komba people in Ghana, Africa. They began in the summer of 2003.

The Esalas received new Komba names. Nathan's is nweinjeti "God loves us." Sarah's is ningain "It is good." Karissa's is tinbamam "We like it that way." (Everyone in town knows Karissa's name and loves it.) Annaka's name means "Do you agree?"

So their names are a little dialogue.

God loves us.
It is good.
We like it that way.
Do you agree?
